  • Add your company and competitors to monitor brand mentions on LinkedIn
  • Use Trigify to capture people engaging with specific posts or keywords
  • Track engagement with relevant videos using YouTube search
  • Monitor X.com for brand and competitor mentions (plus user enrichment)
  • Pull Reddit mentions from select subs and enrich posts + comments
  • Customize filters and automate alerts, outreach, or routing to CRM/Slack

Step 1:

Copy this template

First, copy this template in Clay. 

If you’re already a user, you’ll be directed to your workspace. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a free Clay account.

Step 2:

Add your company and competitors to the LinkedIn brand mention tables

Next, to monitor your company’s LinkedIn brand mentions as well as your competitors’, customize the first two tables to include your LInkedIn organization ID and your competitor’s URL.

Step 3:

Customize Trigify source to find people who have engaged with specific social content

Next, we use Trigify, natively integrated with Clay, to find prospects who have engaged with specific social content related to our industry or company. Customize your target audience and post keywords to source posts and people relevant to your business. 

Once Trigify imports prospects, the table will automatically enrich them with their LInkedIn profile data.

Step 4:

Customize YouTube source to find people who have engaged with specific videos and keywords

Next, we use Clay’s native YouTube search source to find people and channels who are talking about and engaging with content related to our company and industry. Customize the YouTube search criteria to curate people and channels engaging with your company and industry.

Step 5:

Customize X.com source to find company and competitor mentions

Import company and/or competitor mentions (and the people who do the mentioning) who mentioned specific keywords or X.com profile handles. Customize the search criteria to fit your business and industry. Once the table pulls in X mentions, it will automatically enrich people with X.com data like name, previous tweets, followers, and more. 

Next, to monitor X profiles and followers, add your (or your competitors) handles to the first column of both tables.

Step 6:

Customize Reddit search to find company mentions

Last, select the keywords and subreddits you want to monitor from the Reddit search filters. Once Clay imports relevant Reddit posts, it will automatically enrich them with their comments.
