Partnering with influencers can significantly boost your brand reach on LinkedIn.

However, filtering the signal from the noise can be challenging. Vanity metrics like follower count don’t tell the full story. It’s far more useful to understand the actual engagement (reactions and comments) influencers generate on their posts.

In this Claybook, I’ll show you how to analyze influencer post engagement on LinkedIn to make smarter, more informed decisions.

What you can do with this Claybook:

  • Add LinkedIn profiles of your influencers and see their most recent posts
  • Sync that data to Google Sheets to analyze that information in more detail
  • Compare the performance of each influencer to optimize your agreements

Step 2:

Add influencers LinkedIn profiles

Paste influencer LinkedIn profiles into the first column.

You’ll see details automatically enriched in Clay, such as number of followers, their recent posts, and average engagement per post.

Next, we’ll write each post into a new row on another table. We'll add your API key to enable this functionality.

Step 4:

Map columns between both tables

Now you’ll map the columns between the Influencers table and the Posts table.

Click the Play button after they’re mapped and watch the magic happen in Clay.  🪄

Now when you add a LinkedIn profile into the Influencer table, their most recent LinkedIn posts will automatically populate in the posts table.

Step 5:

Sync to Google Sheets

Finally, make a copy of this Google Sheet into your Google Drive account.

Copy the URL and paste into Clay. Then authorize your Google account.

Map your columns to the Google Sheet and your data will flow automatically into the pivot table for custom analysis.
