Find conversations on Reddit, understand how people feel about your brand or competitors, and use those signals to personalize outreach or flag risks
Clay (Free):to monitor brand mentions on Reddit and analyze their sentiment with Claygent
Reddit is where honest feedback lives, and where buying signals hide.
Good news: Now you can use Clay to monitor brand mentions on Reddit.
This Claybook helps you find real conversations about your brand (or your competitors) on Reddit, then uses Claygent, Clay’s AI research agent, to classify the sentiment of each mention. From frustrated customers and raving fans to competitive callouts and feature requests, these signals can help you identify warm leads, churn risks, or timely reasons to reach out.
Use it to spot deal-saving insights, spark outbound conversations, or arm your reps with context before they reach out.
How it works:
First, copy this template in Clay.
If you’re already a user, you’ll be directed to your workspace. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a free Clay account.
The interactive demos on the right will walk you through each step of this Claybook.
You’re not actually going to use the table template you just copied. But you will use the Claygent prompt in a second, new table (more on this in the next step). For now, add a second table where you’ll import brand mentions from Reddit.
Next, copy the Claygent prompt from the table template and recreate it in your new Reddit brand mention table. Claygent, Clay’s AI research agent, will analyze every Reddit brand mention and classify its sentiment as positive, negative, neutral, or mixed.
From here, you can customize the workflow any way you can imagine: ask Claygent to spot product feature requests, stack brand mentions from Reddit with brand mentions from LinkedIn, use Reddit signals to time and trailer outbound messaging, and more.
Start capturing Reddit brand and competitor mentions in Clay.
Simply copy this template, follow the steps above, and let Clay work its magic.
If you have any issue, you can ask for help in Slack or schedule time with a Clay expert.
