Step 2:

Create a Scribeless template and campaign 

Next, create a new postcard template and campaign in Scribeless. As part of your template, define the custom variables within the body of the letter that you’ll use to insert personalized messaging snippets from Clay. We recommend creating a “recurring campaign” in Scribeless if you want to automate this entire workflow moving forward. 

In the next step, we’ll use ChatGPT to craft message snippets tailored to each prospect, then send those to your Scribeless campaign template and campaign for automation.

Step 3:

Create personalized message snippets for each contact

Next, to customize the message snippets you’ll send to each prospect, edit the ChatGPT prompt to fit your business needs. In this example, we’re just creating one message snippet that compliments the recipient. We’ll insert that snippet into our Scribeless postcard template using a custom variable.

Make this step your own: Edit the prompt to fit your business and outbound strategy or ask ChatGPT to write additional custom variables.

Step 4:

Connect Scribeless to Clay using HTTP API

Next, using Clay's HTTP API feature that allows you to send or receive data to or from any platform with an API, connect Scribeless to Clay. To do this, paste your campaign ID into the body of the API call, map the necessary Clay columns to their Scribeless counterparts, and paste your Scribeless API key into the header.

Once successful, you'll see a "200" code in the Clay row.

Step 5:

Import contacts via Find People

Last, import contacts who fit your specified criteria using Clay’s “Find people” search. Once imported, the table will automatically enrich contacts, write personalized messages, and send them to your Scribless campaign in bulk.
