This Claybook helps you automatically enrich and validate CRM records in real time. Whether you're working with outdated contacts, missing fields, or bad emails, Clay pulls fresh LinkedIn data, finds personal and work emails, verifies phone numbers, checks for job changes, and pushes the updates back to your CRM.

How it works
- Import a list of contacts from your CRM (e.g. Hubspot)
- Automatically validate emails and enrich each contact with LinkedIn data
- Find phone numbers, detect job changes, and update company info
- Use CRM lookup + update columns to sync new data back to your CRM
Steps
Copy this template
First, copy this template in Clay.
If you’re already a user, you’ll be directed to your workspace. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a free Clay account.

Step 2:
Import contacts from your CRM
For Hubspot users, connect to your Hubspot account in the first column and import a relevant list of customers or prospects. Once imported, the rest of the table will automatically kick off: Clay will validate existing emails, find news emails if they’re invalid, enrich people with LinkedIn profile data, find out if they’ve recently changed jobs, find mobile numbers, and update your CRM with new data.
Not using Hubspot? You can recreate this table with a different CRM using one of Clay’s native CRM integrations or by using HTTP API.
Step 3:
Set up CRM lookup and update
Next, to send enriched data back to your CRM, update the CRM lookup and CRM update columns. Clay will automatically update your CRM with validated emails, validated companies, and validated phone numbers.
