Inbound Lead Enrichment & Writeback

Records route from the CRM into Clay on creation, resolve to a company domain, and return company type, category, size band and location mapped to the CRM's own picklist values. Every write is fill-blank, so a curated field is never overwritten, and each stage stamps its own timestamp, which makes coverage measurable per field rather than assumed.

TAM Sourcing, Deduplication and Territory Cuts

The addressable market is sourced whole, deduplicated three ways (by domain, by registered business number, then against the CRM's existing contacts) and cut into callable territory lists in the CRM's own schema. Company identity is confirmed against the national business register rather than by name matching, and only high-confidence identifiers are delivered; anything fuzzy is held in a separate column and never asserted.

Do Not Call (DNC) Register Washing Inside Clay

Australian mobile numbers are washed against the ACMA Do Not Call Register from inside the table, through an HTTP API column. The register publishes a legacy SOAP service, so a hosted endpoint wraps it and answers Clay in JSON (batched, mobiles only), with invalid numbers rejected before the register charges for them. Register status and a wash timestamp are written onto the record, so no number reaches a dialer without a checked and dated result behind it.

Building a Vertical ICP Out of Keyword Noise

A keyword search returns the target vertical plus everyone who shares its vocabulary: the trades who service it, the software sold into it, its insurers and its lawyers. A cheap classifier runs first on name, description and industry with no browsing, to clear the obvious noise before any credits are spent on research. Survivors go to a website research agent returning a fixed schema: scale, geography, firm type, industry-body membership, and the platform named on the site. A final pass separates independent firms from franchise, corporate and private-equity-backed.

Clay Credit & Coverage Audit

Every table, action and column in the workspace is read and priced from its own definition, then set against the billed credit report for a dated period, so spend can be seen against the fields it is filling. Dormant tables, duplicated builds, and steps that pay Claygent for facts a company lookup already returns are reordered cheapest-source-first and rebuilt as a Clay Workflow with a region branch. The freed credits fund the backfills and region rollouts already on the roadmap.

Decision-Maker Waterfalls with an Identity Gate

A waterfall keyed on a profile URL returns a contact detail for whoever that URL belongs to, which is not always the person on the record. Every result is checked back against the record before anything is written. That is, the live profile re-read, employer and country cross-checked, number format validated against the market being called. Matched results are written; unmatched results are held for review rather than pushed into the CRM.
