Clay MCP with Functions, permissions, and credit budgets is now live

Clay MCP just got a major upgrade — Functions, permissioning, and credit budgets are now available on your plan.

The workflows your Ops team has built in Clay can now be invoked by any rep, directly from Claude or ChatGPT. No Clay login required. They type a prompt, they get the output.

Here's what's new:

• Functions turn any Clay workflow into something a rep can run from Claude or ChatGPT with a single prompt — ICP scoring, enrichment waterfalls, outbound generation, and more
• Permissioning lets admins control which Functions are available to which reps. Roll out gradually, restrict sensitive workflows, expand when you're ready.
• Credit budgets let you set spending limits by user or across the team, so Ops teams set budget guardrails while giving reps the access they need
