How does Sculptor find contacts at target companies?

Sculptor uses Clay's Find People source to search for contacts at companies in your target industry, filtering by seniority, job function, and title. It then runs waterfall enrichment across up to 12 email providers in sequence, including Hunter, Findymail, and Datagma, to return a verified work email for each contact. You only pay when a provider finds a match.

How accurate are the verified emails Sculptor returns?

Clay tested 12 email finders across 4,700+ contacts and found seven providers scoring above 96% confidence on SMB contacts, with Datagma hitting 97.70% and Hunter at 97.58%. Waterfall enrichment can triple coverage compared to a single provider because each additional source catches contacts the others miss. Every email runs through automatic verification before it lands in your table.

Can I find company contacts for a whole list at once?

Yes. Paste a list of industries or companies, upload a CSV, or pipe data from an existing Clay table, and Sculptor processes every row in bulk. Find People supports up to 50,000 records per search. Once results populate, push company names and verified emails directly into HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive, or export as a CSV for your outbound sequences.

Is it legal to collect and email company contacts for outreach?

In the U.S., the CAN-SPAM Act applies to all commercial email, including B2B. It requires accurate sender info, a valid physical address, a working opt-out mechanism, and honoring unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Penalties can reach $53,088 per non-compliant email. In the EU, GDPR Article 6(1)(f) allows B2B outreach under a legitimate interest basis, but you must document a Legitimate Interest Assessment and offer a clear way to object.
