Sculptor searches Clay's proprietary company dataset using your target industry or market as a filter. It pulls matching companies and runs a revenue waterfall through providers like HG Insights, People Data Labs, Pubrio, and RocketReach in sequence, stopping as soon as one returns an estimated annual revenue. Each row in your table returns the company name and revenue estimate without manual lookups.

How accurate are the estimated revenue figures?

Revenue estimates from a single B2B data provider typically land between 60 and 75% accuracy. Clay's waterfall approach, which queries HG Insights, People Data Labs, Pubrio, and RocketReach in order, pushes that range to roughly 75 to 85% by cross-referencing multiple sources. Accuracy tends to be higher for mid-market and enterprise companies that report financials publicly and lower for early-stage or bootstrapped firms.

Can I find earnings for a whole list of companies at once?

Yes. Sculptor generates the full table in one shot after you enter your industry, so you get revenue data for every matching company in a single run. You can also paste a list of company names or upload a CSV to enrich an existing list. From there, push the revenue-tiered table directly to HubSpot or Salesforce, or export it as a CSV to segment your outbound list by deal size.

Is it legal to collect and use B2B company revenue data?

CAN-SPAM governs any commercial email you send using this data in the U.S. and requires a working unsubscribe link, a valid physical address, and honest sender info. Under GDPR, enriching company records with revenue data generally falls under the legitimate interest basis (Article 6(1)(f)), but you must inform EU contacts on first outreach and offer an opt-out.

Revenue figures sourced from public filings, press releases, and aggregated estimates are broadly permissible to collect. Always check the rules for your jurisdiction before using enriched data in outreach campaigns.
