How does Sculptor generate leads matching my ICP?

Sculptor searches Clay's Find Companies dataset, which pulls from 100+ data sources, and filters results by industry, headcount, location, and keywords you define in your ICP criteria. Once it builds the company list, it runs waterfall enrichment across multiple contact-data providers to locate each VP of Sales and return a verified email alongside the company name.

How accurate is the email coverage for generated leads?

Waterfall enrichment queries 5+ providers in sequence, pushing VP-level email coverage from roughly 30% with a single provider to around 80%. Clay also runs found emails through verification providers like ZeroBounce or Debounce before export, flagging bad addresses row by row so bounce rates stay low and you only pay when a match is found.

Can I generate leads for a whole list at once?

Yes. Sculptor builds an entire table of ICP-matching companies in one run, enriching every row with VP of Sales emails automatically. You can also paste a list or upload a CSV of target companies to enrich in bulk. When the table is ready, push verified rows directly to HubSpot or Salesforce, or export as CSV to load into Outreach or Smartlead.

Is it legal to use B2B company data for lead generation?

In the US, CAN-SPAM requires a working opt-out link and accurate sender information in every outreach email. Under GDPR, most B2B prospecting relies on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), which requires relevance to the recipient's role and a clear opt-out. California's CCPA no longer exempts B2B contact data, so you must honor opt-out-of-sale requests for California residents.

Regulations vary by state and country, so always check the rules for your jurisdiction before launching outreach.
