Functions

Functions are now the primary way to save and reuse enrichment logic in tables, replacing the older Recipe and template surfaces.

• Turn any enrichment setup into a reusable step with Save as Function.
• Migrate private Recipes to user-managed Functions in one click.
• Public Recipes, column templates, and the Table Template Library entry points have been retired.
• Waterfalls now show a notice offering an equivalent managed function.
• A set of managed functions is auto-installed in every workspace, including a backfill for existing workspaces.

Self-Serve Sign-In

Account owners can now update how they sign in to Clay themselves, instead of filing a support request.

• Open Settings → Account → Security → Change how you sign in.
• Update the email address you log in with.
• Switch between Google sign-in and email and password.
• Confirm the change with a verification code sent to your inbox.
• Changing your email does not affect your workspace data.

Account changes that used to take a support ticket now take a minute.

Auto Top-Ups

Auto Top-Ups let workspaces refill data credits automatically instead of waiting for a manual purchase.

• Workspace admins can enable them from Settings → Usage → Set up auto top-ups.
• Choose the balance threshold that triggers a top-up and the amount of credits to buy each time (minimum 250 credits).
• Set an optional daily spend limit to keep spend predictable.
• Opt in straight from the post-checkout modal after upgrading to a paid plan.
• Top-up credits join your main credit balance and follow the same rollover rules.

This keeps enrichments and workflows running instead of stalling when a balance runs out. Learn More →
