A seasoned veteran in the healthcare industry, Bruce has held a wide range of executive leadership positions in publicly traded and private organizations spanning oncology, pharmaceuticals, assisted living and senior housing, home care, physician practice management, surgical centers, and dental networks. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Humana Inc., one of the nation's leading public healthcare companies, for 12 years. Prior to Humana, he served as Chief Executive Officer of McKesson Specialty/US Oncology, Inc., where he also held roles including Chief Financial Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board. Beyond his executive roles, Bruce is a member of the HealthQuest Advisory Board and plays a leadership role in The Business Council. He currently serves on the Humana Foundation Board and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Trust for the National Mall, a nonprofit philanthropic partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring and preserving the National Mall.
