Using Clay to Enrich Your Inbound Leads in HubSpot CRM
Step 1: Set Up Your Clay Table
Start by creating a Clay table. Click 'Add Sources' and select 'HubSpot Contacts'. This will pull contacts from your HubSpot CRM into Clay. You'll need each contact's first name, last name, and email.
Step 2: Enrichment through Clay
After mapping the first name, last name, and email into your Clay table, use Clay's enrichment feature to extract the company domain from email addresses. This will allow you to enrich further company information.
Step 3: Enrich Company Information
Place the 'Extract Company Domain from Email Address' option into the 'Enrich Company' field of the LinkedIn enrichment integration. You'll then be able to gather various information about the company, such as employee count, industry, founding year, address, and follower count.
Step 4: Gather Additional Data
Utilize the 'BuiltWith' feature in Clay to gather additional information, such as the company's CRM use. For example, you could check if they're using HubSpot as their CRM. To do this, insert the company domain and filter by the keyword 'HubSpot'. Run this search to find the companies using HubSpot.
Step 5: Update Company Information
By using Clay's 'Create or Update Company' feature, enrich your company data in the HubSpot CRM automatically. You'll need to enter the company domain and update it with the correct website URL, company name, founding year, and employee headcount.
Step 6: Automatic Updating
Set your Clay table to update on a daily basis. With this, any new contacts entering HubSpot will automatically be enriched with the data from your Clay table, effectively enriching your inbound leads.
With this guide, you can easily keep your inbound leads enriched with the most up-to-date company information using Clay and HubSpot CRM. The result? Improved lead quality and more effective lead nurturing.
