Overview

If the email sequencing tool that you used was not listed in the video above, you can still export your Clay data via Zapier Webhooks. It doesn’t take much time at all and is just as effective as our partner exports.

In this video, Matthew takes us through the steps required to connect our non-native email sequencing tools to Clay. If you don’t use Customer.io, Outreach, Instantly, Lemlist, or Salesloft, this video is for you! Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Go to Zapier and start a new Zap with the trigger being “Webhooks by Zapier”. Set the other app as your Email Sequencing Tool. For the Webhooks event, select “Catch Hook”.

Step 2: Once you test the trigger, Zapier is going to generate a link. Copy the link and go back to Clay.

Step 3: Once you’re back in Clay, go to our “HTTP API” integration.

Step 4: Under “Method”, type “POST”, and set the endpoint to the link you copied in step 2.

Step 5: Go back to Zapier. For most email tools, you can now map out each section of your Clay table into the Zap.

Step 6: Save the Zap.

Step 7: Go back to Clay, run the HTTP API integration, and make sure your Zap ran as intended.

We hope this helps, feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions, and happy prospecting!
