Pull in Twitter Followers/Following of Any Account
The Power of Twitter Audience
Consider a Twitter influencer like Jason Calacanis who talks about startups and has a massive follower base. Using Clay, you can tap into this audience for potential prospects or recruits for your company.
To get started, go to our 'Sources' panel where you'll find 'Twitter followers'. After authorizing Clay to access your Twitter account, you can specify the number of followers you wish to import (we'll go with 100 for this example). You can either use the full URL of the influencer or just their Twitter handle (for example, 'Jason' in Jason Calacanis's case).
The output includes the follower's Twitter name, handle, location, bio description, profile URL, profile image, and count of followers and people they're following.
The 'Twitter Following' source works in much the same way. This allows you to identify individuals that your influencer of interest has deemed worthy to follow. Again, enter the influencer's handle and limit the import to 100. The output will be similar to that of the 'Twitter Followers' source.
Next, we have 'Twitter Mentions'. This source allows you to identify individuals who have interacted with a particular tweet by commenting on it. All you need to do is provide the URL of the tweet. The output will provide the details of those who have commented on the tweet. If the tweet has gained a lot of traction, this could offer a wealth of leads.
There you have it, a brief rundown of Clay's Twitter sources and how they can be leveraged for your outreach. If you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment on this video or join our Slack community at clay.com/slack. Have a fantastic day!
